Here it is.

For those of us who had, have, or lust after a pair of the infamous SennGrados this is the thread for you.

Thanks to original efforts by wje, a tour thread courtesy of yours truly and 7keys, and boatloads of enthusiasm drummed up by those who've gotten to hear this beauty, we can now have a place to discuss all that is SennGrado.

To start us off, here are a few helpful links to reviews and impressions that are already in place.

Getting around to a review as well but still playing with a few simple mods and dampening to tweak the sound. It feels like I could mess around with configurations for months and barely scratch the surface of the options out there.

I really should write up a review.

I'm still working on mine, I got two more of my friends to listen to it over the weekend

My official review should b up in about 2 hours, giving it the finishing touches, btw where are teh measurements Tyll got on these? I'd love to see them :3

Love the finish on them!!
Ive got my pre-order in now.
Cant wait to pay up and get a set of these in my collection.

Going with a nice Lignum Vitae, L-Cush Pads, Braided Cable etc...
The wood looks really nice and from what Ive read,
They'll have excellent acoustics!! :)

...built these today. I beleive I have the PX95 drivers in them. I can confirm @wje 's findings...these are bassier than the PX100 ii. I plan to move them over to something that might just suit them perfectly after a day or so of trying them in these...

It's the cheaper version of the Auvio headband that wje discovered at Walmart, and the cups are a pair of Cabillas' that I have had lying in reserve for a while now.

I've been out of the loop for awhile......are these still on tour? If anyone could get me up to speed and suggest the best rout to get inline, would appreciate.

ps. I would only be interested in auditioning the set that has the smaller grado'y sized cups and not the larger mushrooms. thx

...drop JoeDoe and 7Keys a PM, and they can get you in the line...

The cups on the tour unit are smaller, mushroom-less ones made by 7Keys :)

Are these the L-Cush Cushions?

Are these the L-Cush Cushions?

Indeed they are. I have a Grado cup modeled on the a Beyerdynamic cup's dimensions that, through much a use, uses a G-Cush pad. It sounds just a little too anaemic with all of the Grado drivers I have tried. The mass flattens them all out. The PX95 might fit the bill for them perfectly.

Cool! Im glad Ive opted for the L-Cush for my SennGrado.
Im really looking forward to being the owner of a pair of these.
