Yeah. This idea I guess probably evolved from Rag supposedly being tube-SS switchable, but I was hoping for something really cool and different. Oh well.
I ordered a set for my Lyr 2 to give them a try. Nifty idea. More excited about the 19 bit Gungnir. I guess I'll be upgrading existing and adding to living room.

Holy Schiit! I've been totally absorbed in LIFE over the last couple of days and totally forgot about TODAY, luckily my phone reminded me about today...so What happened??!! By the way, I'm ONE with my Schiitt stack at the moment (M2ü/Modi original & HD650's) right now and kinda of don't give a Schiit because I'm completely rockin' out!

Mystery 1: LISST tubes
Mystery 2: Tube/SS circlotron balanced architecture found in Mjolnir 2
Mystery 3: ???????
Still waiting for #3...
Pretty sure 3. were the new headphones from Mr Speakers.
By the way, the switches on the front of the Mjolnir 2 are gain and input selectors. The power switch is still on the back.

That would make no sense...it's not even their product (Schiit).

Just wanted to say the same thing, I may have lost somewhere what the Ether C had to do with Schiit.

I'm very excited about the Gungnir multibit. I hope we are seeing the beginning of more ladder DACs in the audio realm. Other manufacturers take note. They got my money. Listen up.

That sounds much more logical, and what I was pretty much thinking...unless they had a truly secret product yet to be unveiled. But I highly doubt that.

+1. I don't think Jason used the word "revolutionary" about the show but this product alone seems pretty close to me. Yggy technology at midrange price  ...they got my money too.

You covered most of the options there so I would have to say...yes!
So is the Gungnir a more bright, laid back or neutral dac?

Does Mjolnir 2 have a different topology? I thought that it was still circlotron. Also, Mjolnir 2 does replace Mjolnir 1.
But more importantly, the "3 Mysteries" comes from a Schiit happened post,, and while it certainly applies to 2015, that doesn't mean that he intended for everything to get released at the same time. We still have four full months before 2015 ends.
It's also plausible that one of the planned products is running behind schedule. Shocker coming from Schiit, I know...
