Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

OK, I should have expected stupidity.

So? He has an opinion, you have an opinion, and I have an opinion about what sounds good or bad. You do not have to abide by anyone's opinion, you formulate your own. I also fail to understand how having an opinion about music genre, digital music file types, or selection of audio equipment has anything at all to do with diversity.

You're proving my point quite good.
Thank you.

What I do not understand and agree with you, how some people can be derogative about something they never heard.
Thanks again.

Glad to hear it. And it looks like the tubes lying in front of Gumby are none-the-worse, as well. :D

Good news. Fingers crossed that the shop and Schiitr are both A-OK.

I have the P5. And it's more than worth it.

In all seriousness. I would not hesitate to add a Stellar Powerplant 3 to my system when it comes up in priority. Would not only be good for amp and dac but especially good for my phono stage as someone else pointed out. For now I have a PS Audio Dectet and it made a small but much appreciated improvement to all my components. Well worth the cost.

The quake was way out in the desert, more than 100 miles from the LA area. Now if a second Northridge quake were to happen, the Schiitr might be in trouble.

Agree. Rebuilt my condo from the slab up after the Northridge quake. 8 miles from epicentre, 3 miles from the Schiit plant and Schiitr. Sounded like someone had chucked a couple grenades or an artillery simulator into our bedroom. Not amusing at all. If it could break, it broke. Including that bottle of basil-infused vinegar. My original CD copy of “Don’t Shoot Me, I’m Only the Piano Player” and a number of other CDs still smell faintly of it... Thank God for earthquake insurance.
