I'm debating what cans to bring for demo with Rag 2. Leaning toward HE-6 or K1000. Does the Schiitr currently have the HD800 in the house, or is it on the road?

Take the HPs that are your current favorites and well-known on your rig. Then compare the Rag2 to what you hear at home

Why not take all of your headphones? They don’t take up much space.

Yeah, I know. I doubt its designers had a clue users would want to plug HiFi gear in. I remember pining for a SoundBlaster-blahblah card to plug into my PS/2 so I can play DukeNukem.... yeahhhhhh, no. It's odd that TOSlink and SPIDIF never took off. Battle of the formats, I guess.

I give up on no dead formats I have Reel to Reel , Cassette , Minidisc , DCC , DAT Quad 8, Hi-MD , SACD DVD-A
I've got staying power lol

I understand that point. My impression among my peers is that audio ports are not that important. Meh, it's good enough. And my peers want convenience over purpose-designed I/O ports... USB is great... USB-C is even better (no way 'up').
