My parents have a Liebherr running 30+ years (and no, no ridiculous energy usage) , those kind of fridges are not made anymore ... probably (I am convinced) the well build fridges are overall way more energy/ambient friendly than those produced nowadays with a dying age in mind ...
A "Dear Sir" frig?! Must be named after "Mr. Freeze". Needless to say, but I shall all the same do so..."Cool!" :beerchug:

Yeah, but then beer stocked fridges are not a thing in US (or UK) offices!!
One of my companies had a factory in Bavaria. They had a beer machine in the break room (bottled, of course). The line operators were allowed two 0.5L bottles per 8-hour shift, which they drank at their workstation. Then, we (the American company) started down the GMP road and everything changed.

FYI: Whirlpool, Maytag, and KitchenAid are basically identical when it comes to the bigger appliances (refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.)… share common parts and even manuals in some cases. I’ve had very good luck since 2004 with them… Friends with LG and Samsung appliances; not so much (especially LG).
My late brother-in-law worked for many years at Whirlpool and said the same thing. For the greater part, they are all quite good and if you took a new refrigerator back 65 or so years you would be instantly worshiped by housewives (and bachelors) worldwide! Especially so if you managed to get water routed to the ice maker.

My parents bought their batteries in bulk at Costco. When my wife and I had to take care of those devices, all were ruined by leakage. So we started buying Duracell and soon had the same problem. A little research told us Duracell made the Kirkland branded batteries. We've switched again to the "bunny batteries" and haven't lost a device yet.

...and yes, i know they're technically called cells, but people look at ya kinda funny.

Ah...But when will they use the proper term and call 'em "incells"?

Now is that a reference to "Bladerunner 2049" or the zeitgeist of the moment? Like how many licks it takes to get to the centre of a Tootsie Pop, the world may never care.

I don't see the problem. Beer's just liquid bread. What do you British and American folks have for your 10am Brotzeit break?! 🤨
;p

When I was young, the family would vacation in northern Wisconsin - Grandpa's cabin was in Manitowish Waters, Star Lake, 3-doors down from Little Bohemia. The parents' and grandparents' snack of choice was as follows, starting at the bottom: Ritz cracker (salt side down) / smoked oyster / spoon of Miracle Whip / chunk of blue cheese. I didn't mind 'em, but I really came to love smoked oysters and blue cheese of all varieties. I hate mayonnaise - and Miracle Whip ... not a fan of vinegar.

I had a small one in my last office. Maybe not "stocked" in the traditional sense, but it always had at least a 6-pack in there.

No wonder nobody wants to work anymore. 🤣

When our 15 year old Whirlpool dishwasher washes out, all will likely be replaced by... the Chinet collection
