Not her best and I never really stated anything about how I feel about her music.

I like the cut of your jib, Sir.
I also enjoy fine (and not-so-fine) whiskey.

My son is used to his home bar, I can’t compete.🤪 Generally we will just grab a very good bottle of scotch as well as a high proof bourbon when he visits. He often gives me Old Elk that is made for the Virginia liquor stores.

@Jason Stoddard What are the main differences between the modi multibit 1 and 2? It might be a good idea to include this in the FAQ section of the modi multibit 2 page (love reading those by the way, they're hilarious).

Ransom Spirits Old Tom Gin......yummy. Makes an outstanding G&T when coupled with a good tonic water. The guy that started Ransom has sold it so we'll see how the new owners do. Tad also made good Pinot Noir when he was a winemaker, back in the day.

My son keeps 12 types of gin in his bar, I lost count on some of the other bottles. His scotch bottles are arranged by regions where the product is made.

I am busily deciding which music to play for my son to show off the upgrades to my audio system. Specific jazz, rock, etc. Maybe even Daft Punk lol.

I am adjusting my subwoofer level and crossover point using this song.

Tried Roon on that 2 month thingie...I don't stream and I can't convince myself that flacs on my core then sent to my streamer sound as good as an external drive directly connected to my pi2aes. I guess in a way it makes me understand the draw of Urd to cd-havers.
Well time to eat some crow. Decided to re-approach from the viewpoint of can I convince myself the reverse, that the local files directly connected are actually sounding superior to Roon stream, this time via volumio on a pi2aes from a bjc made bnc, compared to local storage attached to a nuc running ROCK to an Yggy + via Unison usb. And I can't.

Going to beat the buzzer on their rate hike and get the lifetime license. Roon isn't perfect, and I'm frustrated by their refusal to allow browsing by storage folders, but the pluses are here regardless.

I moved my NUC (music on internal HDD) closer to my main system so that I could attach it directly to the DAC via USB. I'm glad I did. It sounds just a little better than playing thru my Bluesound Node 2i.
Also, I purchased my lifetime Roon license ~10 days before their previous rate hike. Very happy I did!

There's some hints to this. Unison, completely updated design, switch to OPA1656 like the modded units. This seems to be a chef's kiss to the OG Mimby/BF. I'd guess it performs maybe similar to a modded OG unit. Who knows.

On the music of Taylor Swift, I feel like she has done at least three kinds of music so far. I think the album "evermore" is quite likely to appeal to people that dislikes much but not all of mainstream pop.

And to me, the 10-minute version of "All too well" is a masterpiece - it is essentially mainstream normal pop except it is as good as it can possibly be. Reminds me of Dire Straits.

I might be crazy, I guess.

This is the first of her songs that I've actually listened to...! 😬
You are so very fortunate... my daughter was a huge fan when Swift first started... so many times listening to my daughter belt out the tunes (in key)... annoying at the time, miss it now

.... With extreme focus on making things reliable and simple, we can keep staff levels down, which means we can play the long game--find a tiny handful of motivated, smart young people and give them time to learn and contribute.
What about smartass old people, with little time (left) to learn or contribute?

Also... prefer the S-suite orifices offices to be spacious, since we're they're no longer tiny.
