From their calendly description for CES reservations:

"We are delighted to welcome you to Sennheiser's luxury suite at CES 2024 - an interactive space where you can go hands-on with all-new products and the people behind them "

Would love a passive 580V-compatible HE-1 without all of the gimmicks.
What are we actually going to get? Disappointment.

Frankly, even a dynamic or planar with identical tuning to the HE-1, would be excellent.

Hello Head-Fi,

The Consumer Electronics Show ("CES") is nearly upon us, and we have a few technology-leaning announcements to make. We know most of you will not be able to attend CES, so we'll be livestreaming the our media event on January 8th at 12:30pm Pacific Time, live from Las Vegas.

You can click on the link below to join the fun on the 8th. Don't forget to subscribe and enable notifs, as we won't post the debuts here on the sponsored forums until we get back from CES:

I want it to be an HD900 so badly but, if it was, I feel like they would be hyping up the reveal so much more than we’re getting so I’m keeping expectations tempered

I think it's going to be the HD840 NLOYHE (Not-Loose-On-Your-Head-Edition.) Or maybe...the DFLCCPE (Doesn't-Feel-Like-Cheap-Creaky-Plastic-Edition.) But I guess we'll see.

If it's a "stand alone" He1 I'd gladly Hand over money as first adopter.

Everything else is most likely something I'll pass on

The HD660S2 was unexpectedly good to me, so I'm hoping for the closed 6 series that's been rumored forever but never materializes. But my luck it will be something like a new Momentum or other thing I'll have no interest in.
