Hello all,
I've got a Fuze v2 and will be purchasing a portable dac/amp (likely the d4) in the next few weeks. I'm wondering how much interconnect length and materials (assuming I connect to the hp out) affects fm reception. I notice only very minor differences between the different headphones/cables/lengths I own (akg 272hd, ath m50s, westone um1, generic mini-to-rca), but would like to hear others experiences on the matter.

btw, I did search the lod and appreciation threads, but with no success...

cheers,
Timothy

Timothy -- the FM reception on the Fuse seems to work fine with just a mini-2-mini plug going to an amp.  For a long time I've used an old Zune30, and the FM does NOT work with the mini to the amp -- I would have to unplug the amp and listen straight out the headphone out of the Zune.  Didn't like that.  Recently stole my son's pink Fuse for a month or so while he was away, and was pleased that I could listen to FM with the mini to the amp and listen from the amp -- reception was just fine.
