I just found out the cowon x7 existed after getting my s:flo 2 shipped out from mp4nation. The similar sound quality, 10x battery life and huge capacity is really making me regret ordering this :\

How would you know it will sound when you have neither of them? If you don't like the s:flo2, just sell it to another person and get a X7.

Had my s:flo 2 for 5 months and not regretted getting it once

Doubt the X7 will sound better than the S:Flo2 it's all just hype. The X7 will most likely sound like the J3.

From just the HO w/ no EQ, I find the S:Flo 2 to sound better than my J3. But the J3's EQ options are just amazing. All things considered (UI factoring heavily into this), I like the J3 better. But then, the J3 is quite a bit more expensive ($200 vs. $275 for 32GB).
 
Note: All the Cowon DAPs I have heard (D2+, S9, J3) have sounded pretty much identical. I doubt the X7 or D3 will be any different.

And to think my Sflo2 cost me $110 when I had bought it!

I had to RMA my Sflo2 so to tide me over I bought a J3.  The sound of the Sflo2 spoiled me so much I just hate the sound of my iPhone4.

my sflo2 was mailed out on december 21st, my tracking number still doesnt work, emailed HKP finally got a reply today and they said my tracking number isnt even in their system, im so SOL unless mp4nation files an insurance claim (in china? doubt that will even work out), i opened a ticket it hasnt been answered yet, their customer service seems pretty good, they said they have had some recent parcels not showing up and that they are looking into it, i wish they would just resend me one, i even paid for EMS shipping, this is very frustrating i want to experience the "ear'gasmic" music like yall!
