Exactly. 1.6.0 + Rockbox dualboot + CWM
Oh good, so the cmw will be automatically installed! Good! It's easier than flashing an Android smartphone

The update should work the same way as any stock firmware update, if you were able to do the 1.5.0 -> 1.6.0 just do it the same way with the rockbox version.
And what about the .rockbox folder?
It's better to copy the .img inside the internal memory or on the external SD?
Rockbox do not use that. Running rockbox on DX50 bypasses the Mango Player altogether. Regardless what you change in the MangoPlayer platform it should not affect Rockbox.
I'm not talking about MangoPlayer application, I'm talking about rockchip rk2928 platform based on modded Android. Mango is just some point which used for proper initialization of HAL layer in this context. HAL layer is system wide.
Like I said rockbox directly access the DAC natively not by Android platform.
You are wrong here. DAC is another layer. Rockbox uses alsa driver.
For example,
I have DeadBeaf player on Ubuntu platform which plays music using my STX sound card.
I cannot say DeadBeaf directly access the STX because of there is Ubuntu platform with its kernel/drivers/etc.
But it's ok! If you don't hear any SQ difference it is not a problem for me.
Sorry for disturb people who like "uncolorized" rockbox sound, I won't do this anymore
Cheers!

I proved this new firmware and the sound quality is very good, in my opinion.
The only things I am some not happy are:
- the battery, I read the measures are not too reliable, But it looks very demanding, in 30 minutes of play the battery was down by 10-20%. With the stock firm the battery was at the half after one week of use.
- the default size of font, it is too little for my opinion.
- some themes don't work very well (ex: redux).
If "standard" rockbox has similar SQ I could live with it without problem.
Also, in Linux you can transport sound without modification using alsa. In Ubuntu, probably, the problem is pulseaudio and they maked it the kernel of sound. You only have to use a distribution can live without pulseaudio (OpenSuSE or Arch Linux), I get it in my htpc (with kodi) using mpd. You can find more information about Linux and sound in this web: http://www.ap-linux.com/
Pity that "uncolorized" rockbox sound fans don`t understand what You are doing and how it affects SQ (only in good way). Funny how they think that RB alone makes everything just bit-perfect and best sounding.
medmitry, I seriously think that Your Sound Unlocked version is best rockbox FW I have tried with DX50 regarding SQ. I hope You won`t ditch developing this further and find all the bugs.
Keep up the great work! Maybe I will soon turn to Your SURB to stay but atm I`m still liking SU 1.3.3 @ FLAC/IIR OFF/CPU variable(default) tad more with Panasonic FC capacitors.
Hi there, first of all thx dx50 rb developers for their work!
I implemented some SQ tweaks for latest builds.
DX50 Rockbox Sound Unlocked(Beta)
- hi-fi sound on your DX50
It's not some kind of added built in EQ setting or any kind of DSP. Audio stream is bit perfect.
This fix applies for proper PCM sound device initialization(using HiFi params). It provides ability to sound like WM8740 player instead of generic cheap smartphone.
