i ended up picking kz edr2 and phrodi pod007P for $6 each :joy:

I can only find phrodi m201 on AE. do you have a link?

I had the EDR2 but the front of the casing fell off when i was changing tips and the wires snapped lol

@crabdog i bought it at my city's local store, offlinely and i don't even have to wait for shipping :joy: plus they use local chinese market's pricing instead of AE's pricing... about $2 cheaper

yeah, seems like KZ FORGET to put a glue on the edr2's housing... i ended up glued it manually...

Hi guys,
I'm a total newbie and going to buy my first earbud with my student budget so i need your help.

I always used headsets coming free with the phones until it stop working. Usually i listen party music and watch movies-tv shows with my earbuds.

I have Samsung Galaxy S4-i9500 and planning to sell it and buy Xiaomi Mi5, and got a  laptop with Realtek ALC268 HD Audio.
I have read some ohm impedance output problems with rock zircon in previous pages. Does any of my devices will work good with rock zircon?

And is that really true the white colored version better then the black one? :)

As far as I know the white and black have the same sound.

I have used zircon with my laptop (Realtek HD Audio) and Galaxy Note 5 and it works fine with both. The Zircon is a great buy in my opinion but there are many great budget iems going at the moment. You might want to take a look at the best sub $30 Chinese iem thread:

Thank you for quick answer bro i will check it immediately :)  I asked black vs white because people inc. you were talking about black colored one's giving overbass couple of pages before.

I tested a friend's white pair the other day and I immediately thought they sounded much brighter than mine. Could be mistaken though as I haven't used mine in about a month.

Possibly looking at the Rock Zircon as a daily driver. What would one say are the strengths and weaknesses of the Zircon?

pros: build quality, amazing bass while retaining clear sound on mid and high

cons : nothing at this price point, probably if I were nitpicking, the lack of any case or pouch in retail package

I agree with this except I'd also say the bass can sometimes be a little overwhelming depending on the song. Having said that, changing tips can help to tame the bass.

I agree, using big bore tips such as the Auvios can help open up the sound and reduce bass though.

Got them yesterday, great seal with the supplied tips.
I find them to be a little treble dominant and higher mids are kinda crappy like all cheap iems i tried.

Had to use EQ to kill some of that 8k range and they sound kinda good now.
