The sound of a dynamic driver is affected by the recurrent vibrations of its housing. That's why the material is so important and it will be hard to recreate the sound of the universal Galaxy as a custom. Iems as the Flare R2A/R2pro and the Ocharaku Flat-4 series for instance have iems that use the same drivers, but differ $300 or more because of the housing material.

Very close in terms of quality. Nothing to do with signature. SE5 is reference, pretty flat. Solar is fun. Both are damn fine product. But comfort wise silicon ciem trumps every other IEMs that I have/had.

And Rhapsodio's are.... ?

I don't even have time to write the galaxy review, because it takes all my time just listening to it. lol it's that good. 
 
This is the first time ever I have heard a IEM that can match the treble extension of SE5. First freaking time.

@shotgunshane, just compared with SE5 on the Tera, and it's a miss again. The bass impact is cut out...but man the ultimate on the SE5. So freaking impressive.

@Kerouac,very different from the Solar, so I think it will better complement my SE5.
