[REVIEW] Sony MH1 – The Best Kept Secret
Dec 15, 2012 at 5:13 PM Post #1,487 of 3,824
Have to say.. I am listening to these for the first time and I am a believer now. I don't see myself buying expensive $300+ ear phones ever again. Instead I'll invest that money into proper cans. If I ever see these below $30 I'll be buying a back up for sure.

Thanks guys for the recommendation.

I've read that the MH1C's are pretty power hungry. Can they still be driven properly from a regular cell phone, like a Samsung Galaxy Nexus? Sorry if this question has been asked millions of times before.

I use these with a Samsung Galaxy Nexus and rarely push the volume above 50% (Using Fine Volume Control which I strongly suggest you install, if you haven't already).

Thanks for the response! I'll look into the "Fine Volume Control" app.

Tried buying these from overseas already. Got lost in the mail. Paid a few dollars more and got them from wireless ground in 2 days. Really needed them before I left on Christmas vacation

for a possible recable job... anyone know how to get into these without trashing them, if not I'll have to work from the outside with shrinkwrap or something.

Does anyone know where to get the white mh1c?
I looked on amazon as well as ebay but couldn't find 'em (accessible from the US)

Very glad I found this thread! I've been on the hunt for some bassy earbuds and now my wallet won't hurt either, thank you!

Thanks!

I got mine from here:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-Headset-SmartKey-Control-XPERIA/dp/B008OG16EQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1355739833&sr=8-1

I see that they raised the price with a couple of pounds since then but the seller was great to deal with and delivery to Norway was fast.
