guys Ive been experiencing a slight decline in left earbud volume, can you please suggest ways to correct it?

Thank you:)

It's a know issue. It could be moisture, just leave it for couple of hours to dry out.

Hey guys
I could get these for ~10$ (new).
Should i buy them or did the last 2 years throw something better for a comparable price on the market?

/Edit: not only talking about sound, but also about buildquality, which seems rather bleh.

Hey po98 you might want to check that its not the jack that is faulty. You can test this by wiggling around the cable near the jack end to see any noticeable difference in sound. If so, you may need to get the jack replaced. Also check the connection within the entire cable and right before the headphone itself. Other than that it may be a driver that went faulty.

Ive checked the jack, but no avail.

Yes could be that because its raining here from past week, should I use hair dryer to blow out the moisture?

Hi evryone,

I am new in this site and this is my first post.
I've read a lot about MH-1C and searched to buy one in india.
But i'm a bit confused. Need your help. Both MH-1C and MDR XB 30 EX are available at same price ( $33) here. Which one should i buy? I am also open for other options. My budget is max $40. I mostly listen soft rock kinda indian songs.
Total Options worth considering are:-

Creative EP 660 $20
Sennheiser CX 180 $25
ATH 300 $29
Logitech UE 200vi $30
Sony MH-1C $33
Denon AHC 260 $33
Sony MDR XB 30 EX $33
Sennheiser CX 215 $34
JBL J33 $35
ATH CK313i $37
Logitech UE 350 $38
JVC HAFR36A $38

my only gripe with MH1C is the cable. they have good build quality and excellent sound. if you can get them for only 10usd, you should buy them now or buy them all and sell them for 20 usd and they will still sell like a hotcake.

Na, to much hassle. Besides, this seems to be the standard price over here.
I'll give them a try, ordered a pair.

To everyone who asked where i got them:
They are on sale on Amazon germany for ~7€

Has anyone here tried the "rockin' buds" by sony?  MDREX10LP  I believe these are the best headphones I've ever heard in terms of value.  I got a pair for $10.  TEN dollars.  And they are extremely good quality.  Don't think they'll beat $200 earphones, but they're surprisingly good for $10.  I'd say I would prefer them over a lot of $100 earphones, but not all obviously.  A tad boosted bass, but not too drastic.  They have a relatively spike free overall frequency response and did I mention they're $10?

10.

What other earphones/buds are you comparing the MDREX10LP   with ?

All of them! hahaha. Kidding. But a lot of well regarded iems. W4r, gr07 mkII, er4s, pfe112, ba200, earpods, pfe232, etc. to name a few. It isn't as good, and I'm not saying its mind blowing, but it has no real flaws per se. And for $10 it is a huge percentage of the quality of most of those. I'm just amazed at the quality for $10. Even if they aren't going to replace your earphones, they are a great backup or portable you don't need to worry about, and they sound great.

Edit: I tried the "bumpin buds" a couple of years ago and had build quality issues.  Never tried the rock'n buds.  Sorry for the mix up.
