be prepared to be underwhelmed when you see the ex800st packaging

... and this is standard with most hardware made exclusively by Sony Music-Communications of Japan

ive seen the package 3 years ago, just a white box unlike the ex600 that i have.

i have asked about the cable about 4900 yen for the ex1000 version, but stock sold out.

will ask them if they can send it to me.

is your 7550 now relegated to beater status?

im hoping mine will at least last 5 years with super great care like I did with the UE Triple fi 10

Well, 7550 was purchased for beater status, as I was not willing to use my UERM for outdoor use. 7550 received lots of love from me, and they still do. I would freak out if they did break. I began using them as outdoor/main portable rig(in fact, they get more use than my UERM!). They are not relegated. They receive proper care and love.

Just an quick update, but I sold off H-200 and kept the H-200. There's a good reason behind that.
1. MDR7550 is much more comfy.
2. They isolate less.
3. They have better bass(generally good for travel/workout phones)
4. Built better.

Just bought a pair of these off amazon.
Does anyone know if these will have a problem fitting smaller ears? I tend to have a problem trying to fit IEMs in my ear canal. My previous set of RE262 were barely comfortable.

I actually found the MDR-7550 to be very comfortable. I mean I even fell asleep with them before although their design is not suited for that either :p.

Just use the small tips. My friend has small ear canals and finds the small tips comfortable.

hey man, in case you get your 7550 back can you lend it to someone who owns 7520 so you can give us impression/detailed review?

word out there is that the 7520 is another real good sony cans that's overlooked... and im wondering how it stacks up against sony pro's sole iem model.
