I'm really very satisfied with my ld mk2 it sounds very good already with my grade 325e, if I change the tubes I have 6n6-t with the 6n6p will I have any audio improvements?
Many times tube changes can be a lateral move with subtle differences. If you're happy with the sound you have enjoy it.I'm really very satisfied with my ld mk2 it sounds very good already with my grade 325e, if I change the tubes I have 6n6-t with the 6n6p will I have any audio improvements?
Not really. I replaced the original tubes with mullard NOS several years ago and have been very pleased with theok, but in the future if I would like to change the valves, any advice?
5654 RT input tubes. since the input tubes have the greatest effect on how the LD sounds.which mullards? and what are the jumpers for and where are they inserted, thanks
LD MK 2 had a few parts upgrades over the years. Looks like that's the case with these capacitors.I bought the used little dot mk2 and I saw that 3 capacitors are 200v 390u instead of 250v 330u, what does this mean?
IME after about 30 minutes the LD has pretty much reached it's sonic potential.after how long does the little dot run at maximum performance?
Never owned an HD 660, so I can't say.Is a HD 600 or HD 660 a better match for the LD MK2?
Possibly, it's been about six years since I adjusted the gain on my LD MK2, so not completely sure. It's easy enough to find out.Is medium gain also set in this way?
