hi suman my friend wants to buy an iem for using while doing exercise. he wanted good bass phones.

so MDR xb30 or cx180 which to prefer. he is having iPod nano 7th gen plz suggest

 


I think he should go for Xb30ex as cx180 is not much detailed, but cx180's bass is juicy. Has more punch, if he is after bass, cx180 can please him, but i would like to suggest the piston too. More detailed, enough bass and build is good too.

suman. does piston has good build quality than xb30ex and one more thing does the inline controls will work fine with iPod and note 2

 Yes, it works fine with androids and will work with ipods too. Its got instructions inside the back of the package cover. Which button will do what and things.
 
And about the bulid, yes its build and shell are better than XB30EX.

  I think so, piston was just okay, piston 2nd gen is good, and i think this will be better. it should be. Do you have the piston2? Piston was overly bassy, 2nd gen is nicely bassy, I think 3rd will be even more tighter and with better Sq. Lets see, cant say anything for sure, but rest assured, i will get me one just to review and extend this thread.

 Yes, HJE-125 replaced 120, its practically the same earphone with a different shell design and better sensitivity. Similar sound signature but 125 has slightly bigger bass. If you are after bass, try HBE-125, i think its model No. is, it has plenty of bass. If not, try SHE3900, it has better balance and better details.

Hey Suman , I currently have Soundmagic ES18  GREAT EARPHONES ,
using it with my Lappy and Samsung Galaxy S2 (with Viper4android) which makes it ever better.
 
I have come across an online deal for Audio Technica ATH-CLR100 for about Rs.350 .
Should i go ahead and buy it as I already have ES18 and want earphones which is better than ES18 .
How does this stack against ES18 in overall sound quality ?
I heard to rock ,metal, Electronic ,House Mix , Trance , Instrumentals House and DJ type of music (David Guetta , Deadmau5 ,Linkin Park , Metallica) most of the time .
 
If these are not better than ES18 suggest better than ES18 under Rs.1000 bucks
