no , no sony's , they are low on bass and are a bit harsh i.e. ex100lp , ex10lp .

but it comes with 3 buds?
I checked on forums.,,,,,,,,,some guys are saying it is better than es18 while some says no////

    yes 3 buds , but the fitting is terrible , smallest ones never fit me , midsize ones usally fit me , largest ones fits the best but with this phones even the largest one was irritating , isolation was poor , fit was shallow and i dont think a fully burned em1 can beat an es18 , em1 has loads of bass , more then es18 but the mids are drowned , and highs have elevation , if not much , enough to grab your attention . was not peaky but was not forgiving either . i never disliked its sq but still falls under es18 , i hated the fitting or say ergonomics the most . even xba-3 is more pleasant .
    if you are not totally after bass and is willing to give a type o ( okay ) sparky but not peaky phone a go , jump the guns and get the denon ah-c100 .

  Whats the difference between peaky and sparky?
I think I hate spark but what is peaky sound............??

     peaky is a spike in the spectrum that rises over the usual spectrum abruptly . and is annoying .

so, that means they are same.....peaky = sparky
isn;t it?

   not exactly , spark is when a range of high freq is elevated , a few peaks closer to each can make it sparky , but spark is not too high to hurt , peak is high and can hurt . like ha-fx40 , its as peaky as it gets .

    spraky not peaky , it should not hurt , might bother , but its bass is bigger then its highs and can over shadow it , its still alive in the back ground though .

ok, bro
putting it simply....as u know es18 hurt my ears and ep630 does not;
so
will em1 will also hurt or not ?

in between , they may lack peaks but they do have some spark , and should not hurt .
