I purchased Sony hybrids (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-EPEX10A-BLK-Replacement-Earbuds/dp/B001RB24UA) for my IM03's and I cannot get them to completely fit onto the IM03 nozzle.  With the stock eartips, they fit completely on the nozzle til they are completely seated.  I can't get the Sony Hybrids to fully seat onto the nozzle without fear that excessive force will break something.  Since I can't get them to fully seat there is significant amounts of wobble.  Am I doing something wrong?  Did I purchase the wrong Sony Hybrids?  The ones I purchased were not in retail packaging, so they may have been generics.  The return address on the package indicated that they came from this ebay seller, even though I ordered them from Amazon (http://www.ebay.com/itm/12pcs-S-M-L-Hybrid-Replacement-Set-Eartips-Earbuds-for-Sony-XBA-MDR-DR-Series-/221232040677).

Thinking about considering the UE900 eartips; how do they fit on the IM03?  Any other suggestions for replacement eartips?  Something is just missing with the stock silicone and I don't really care for foams.

Thanks.

not exactly Sony hybrid, but these are what I am using, kind of cheap too

yuppp these are pretty snazzy, if it do say so myself! glad I jumped onto them a while back!

the silicone used is pretty nice too, not papery or brittle!

Does anyone here own both the IM 02 and the DUNU titan? I'm having a hard time deciding between the two. I mainly listen to classical music, but is also into jazz and world music. Recently, I have taken a liking to Creedence Clearwater Revival as well. I like something that is neutral, but with a bit of bass. So I was really looking to try the Titan. The only deal breaker is poor isolation and no over-the-ear design. The IM-02 seems to be my kind of sound as well, and like the form factor. Which one do you think would be better?

I have had the DUNU-2000's and have an IM-04, so I can't talk of the sound quality for the titan's but I do know i absolutely hated the fit on the Dunu's, but I'm pretty sure the titan's have different form factor.   That really all i can offer is the 2000's had metal up against my ear and where super uncomfortable and felt like they could fall out at any time (also got a ton of tips stuck in my ear).

KZ blue silicone tips are my favorite now. Highly recommended!

Nope, they are two different tips.

Are the KZ blue silicone the same as these ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/141721545729?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT ) mentioned a couple posts back?

if anything what @ozkan  is referring to is probably more similar to the the stock tips that the ttpod t1e comes with

hey @ozkan those tips are quite short, did you have to make an adapter to compensate for it?

So is there an alternative cable maker to lunashop for IM series headphones? I'm just looking for some cable with no memory loops. I've gone through 3 sets of lunashop cables already (2 broke and my current one works everywhere else but has a buzzing noise with Nexus 6p when nothing is playing, which neither of my 2 other IEM has and which the stock cable doesn't have). Preferably under $40 and preferably straight plug rather than L.

Thanks

There are some options I've found on eBay. Though, they are all over $60.

Just search for ATH-IM0(1-4) cable. You'll find some options.

I'll look around. Thanks for the suggestion.

Also praying for DBA 02 to go on sale.

It looks like excellent.
$20 is very affordable if it works well.
Original ATH cables are too pricy.

Take it from me, I progressed from buying cables to DIY. Pure copper or silver is for the best, keep spending 20-30$ here and there about 2-3x times and you arrived at the cables which cost 70-100$ to begin with. :D

Pure silver cables with ranko L shape plug TRRS for zx2

I just picked up a IM02. From my Sansa Clip+, there is a slight pulse/tapping. I thought it was emi interference but I had not other electronics near buy. Anyone else had this experience?

I was disappointed how much hiss there was from the Clip+.
