It really depends on your music tastes and if you will be ok with a mid-forward sound.

i listen mainly edm like dubstep trap and Progessive vocal. i want something with the best cleanest vocal possible.

IM-03 and 04 are both good with vocal. More transparency on 03 but more Lushy and smooth on 04. Also 04 is more punchy and bassy, where as 03 is less bassy but more overall transparency.

There way to expensive trying to say around the 100-$160 range

Either trying to get the eph 100 IM70 or the im02.

Im70 and 02 is too different from each other. 70 is more organic timbres, and 02 is more transparency. If I had to pick vocal as a strong point, I would have to go with IM-02 every time, but again, how do you like your bass ? 02 is kinda picky.

I think they are. The CKR9 has better subbass, bass response, soundstage, and depth. They're on par in terms of detail, resolution, and transparency. I really didn't find it much of a contest in terms of the overall package.

Will there be any night and day difference between the ckr9 and the dn 1000.

For the eph and im70 which one would be better

The CKR9 and DN1000 are different sonically but fit in a similar range. CKR9 has better vocals to me and more forward mids, where the DN1000 has more bass with a v shape and a sharper treble (as is true of most hybrids). Both on par overall but do things differently.

Thanks might get the ckr9 or the IM70 depending on my budget. Might need the extra $60 for future uses. Kinda getting bored of my dunu 1000 want something else to play with or I might try and save up for the flc8
