More bass and better vocals than havi sounds too good to be true ..

. What else does the im02 better and what does the havi better(besides soundstage i guess)?

And why is that? you think havi are better then ath dual BAs, at least i dont.

I am super interested in the im02 and wanted to ask if anybody is able to compare it to tdk ie800 or havi b3 pro I because these to iems were the best in terms of vocal reproduction for my liking. Thanks in advance.

i had the ie800. but they broke 4 mths back. and i bought the IM02s to replace them. for fit, im02 takes a while to get it right. for me at least, i feel the ie800s have a better seal. probably with other tips i can get the same seal with the im02s.
as for sound, i havent used the ie800s for a while now. so i cant really say. but i'm liking the im02 anyhow.

Thanks for that input. Can you comment on on anything from memory? Less bass or smoother treble maybe?
The FR on http://en.goldenears.net/49122 looks so promising for me. Very similar to quadbeat 2 and ie800 which looks great at least for my liking.

To me, I hear more details, better imaging and better separation of instruments with IM02, compared to IE800 and IM70 (I was auditioning both IM02 and IM70. What made me go for IM02 was the details i was able to hear from Bruno Mar's song)
And if i recall, the bass on the IM02 sounded better to me than the IE800. Tighter.
As for describing highs, mids, forwards, I have not reached that level to be able to properly discern and describe them. Overall I just liked how IM02 sounded to me and decided to purchase it.
If you can audition them before purchasing, that would be good.

Thanks a lot i will hit the buy button . I have no chance of testing them, because i think they are not even available in Europe. Wanted a BA type iem with good clarity for a long time. The last i had was the ue900, good details but overall too unspectacular and veiled in the upper mids -> female vocal were quite boring.

IM02 has everything you were missing on your UE900. Enjoy them!

Just in case anyone didn't see it already, the IM02 is $149 on Amazon right now. This deal is from the actual Amazon distributor, not some odd third party guy.

Nice!
I just picked up the IM02. Impressions will follow once they're in.
Hopefully they'll be forward enough for my tastes. If not, I can always just return them. My thought process is that it's petter to grab these first since the return will be easier if necessary and then pick up one of the Japan imports if these don't cut it.

LOL, good luck with that one. I've only seen the 01 and 02 go down

I am waiting for im04 price to drop hehehe

 USD 338.75

04 on Amazon Japan. Use Tenso as a forwarding service, so add another $15-20$.  Cheaper than a used pair on Amazon U.S.
