Hi, thank you for your reply.
Both Audio Sactuary, and Aid2Hearing are superb personal companies to deal with. As a company owner myself I won't part with money unless I deem the transaction worthy. I procured the Dulce from Phil @ Audio Sanctuary and look forward to meeting Gisele in November when I am next in London.
Coming from what was a very coherent IEM with the single driver IE800, I cannot believe (although I can) i'm listening to 5 drivers. The benefits are clear, i'm left thrilled no matter what I throw at them - all genres except for classical. I shall be introducing a friend to Noble when I visit London, another keen IEM audiophile. As above, if the K10 or Satana excel in a few areas such as HF and soundstage, I will buy accordingly, I just hope the bass is akin, or not too far away from the Dulce. You have tuned the bass on the Dulce perfectly. I have played many many tracks and the layers of bass are an utter pleasure to hear they really are. If music wasn't such a huge part of my life I would happily live with the Dulce but they are intended for gym use, and K10/Satana for outside the gym.
For any Dulce owners, listen to James Blake's Retrograde track. For the first time ever I have noticed the mixer/sound engineer gently increases the bass with each note from the start of the track before levelling it off. This has never been apparent before regardless of setup. This includes the Beyer T1 / Hugo TT.
I've had endless pairs of headphones over the years, Senn 600, 650,800, Beyerdynamic T70p, T1 / T5p2 etc but only the Nobles grab and immerse me into the music.
I am hoping there is no sound degradation by using the iPhone mic cable?
Many thanks.
Pedro
