ClieOS, I just wanted to say thank you for your very helpful review. I purchased it and amp it with the Fiio E6 (also your recommendation earlier in this thread). I love what I'm hearing. :)

Thank you ClieOS, purchased this because of your review.

I'm looking for an amp that arround $200.

Is it Fiio E17 is all that I needs or there is other better option?

There are better sounding amp under $200, but it all depends what features you need.

Do I still need an amp if I played in with iPad mini?

If you believe you can get enough volume out of iPad Mini, then you don't need to worry about getting an amp.

Hi.

Do you know if it would be possible to adapt a Westone UM56 Universal-fit Custom eartip to the RE262?

http://www.westone.com/music/index.php/products/custom-fit/um56.html

I love the RE262, but sometimes I need more isolation. I don't want to spend money on expensive Custom IEM or to replace the RE262

BTW: I bought my RE262 thanks to this review. Thank You ClieOS!!!

UM56 is really for narrow nozzle such as those on Westone or Shure IEM. The nozzle on RE262 will be too big to fit.
