Ohh. I live in Southern Indiana, so shipping from KY would be nice. Been itching to try these. I've been using beyers dt770 and love them. But I want something a tad punchier, slightly less bassy with an emphasis on mids. These sound like these may do that.
If only I could find a way to get wood cups for them as well I would so be all over these.

Mostly agree with your opinion although I really love the sound and use them a lot. I would just point out that the clamping force evolves to something reasonable and that while the stock pads are very sweaty you can switch them with velours to get a really comfortable headphone that you can listen for hours none stop.
