Indeed couriers are still impacted by the outbreak situation, mostly by virtue of fewer package pickup instances in a day. We were hit with a double whammy of a pause in service at the turn of the month. For instance, we were told DHL would not pick up packages between 4/30 and 5/4.

Depending on your region of service, not everything may be dispatched by DHL, and may be with another courier. Regardless of the courier of choice, we've made an upgrade on shipping to their expedited options.

Additionally, DHL is very conservative in its shipping estimates. They may sometimes tack on an extra week as well. It is always best to track the package as it progresses, and to reschedule delivery to an earlier date if it reaches the last mile leg early.
Thanks for the update! Am patiently waiting for the Vernus!

Having patience in times like these is key - shipping coming from China is mad from the industry all around. For individual packages though, DHL is the best and most reliable. Really do get what you pay for - never had a shipment (from Singapore, Hong Kong, Pakistan and so on) be more than three days which is insane to the states.

Agree on DHL. It‘s just that for Vietnam, with DHL or any of the couriers, you will have to make customs clearances and pay duties. If it is sent via mail, more often then not you don‘t have to.

That's interesting! Good information for folks to know here if they're also in Vietnam.

So I've been emailing DUNU whose responses have been prompt and full - some of the best customer support by email I've experience so far in the hobby. Actually definitely the best.

They confirmed that I was the very last Vernus order! I feel very lucky indeed. Especially as checkout took about 8+ minutes (between different mobile browsers, so it wasn't being "held" in any sense while I fumbled to get the details in).

I'll take it as a sign, I feel very good about this single DD IEM! It mimics some characteristics of the DM, comes in possibly my favorite shade of green, and will have DUNU build quality and accessories. An eclipse driver with the FR that's been shared has plenty of potential, no doubt!

Mine was shipped via DHL 4 days ago and is in Puerto Rico right now (Which is where I'm from.)

Should have the Vernus on Monday, that went faster than expected given the covid situation. (I wish this ends soon.)

I totally agree, some of the most polite and courteous emails.

My Vernus is currently sat in my local city waiting for delivery on Monday. I was tempted to pick it up but thankfully I've got a lot to keep me busy this weekend in terms of new audio stuff.

Got mine around 40 minutes ago, will be posting pics later. (It's currently 9:53 AM here.)

Zero tips came in the box other than the installed tips, I assume this is an error on DUNU's part.

Testing the reference filter right now, very smooth and organic sounding with minimal bloat, wish the Vernus had more sub bass because it's noticeably lacking some. I think the Vernus has the most natural timbre out of all the single DD IEMs I've tried so far (IE: Starfield, FD5, Olina, Mele, FDX1.)

Overall resolution is solid, around the same level as the Olina, less resolving ability than the FDX1. Basically what I expected.

I think the tuning was never set to offer a prominent subbass looking at the graph, there's a clear roll off below 50Hz. Provided it extends to subbass frequencies I'd be happy.

Some pics, apologies for the crap quality: https://imgur.com/a/KS6fS5f

Tips were found inside a black-colored compartment I missed when I opened the box

I can now see why some people enjoy the original Falcon Pro, there is a noticeable heft to how the mid bass punches.

It's quite interesting, I don't have any IEMs in my small collection that has this type of bass.

Appreciate the great customer service! I'm personally enjoying mine quite a bit, will consider the Zen Pro when I get into the 500$+ IEM space.

Tried all 3 filters, I think all three have their uses, with the Atmospheric nozzle probably sounding the closest to the Falcon Pro.

Will probably main the reference filter, transparency is a bit too bright for my taste. Don't really care about the Atmospheric one and it fits me poorly given the longer nozzle length and my shorter ear canal.
