So what did you have to do to the UE custom cable to get it to fit the TF10? Got any pics?

Didn't use any of the cables with the TripleFi, used the TripleFi cable with both the FreQ and UE11. If the TripleFi cable fits them, there's no reason their cables couldn't work with the Triple. The need to modify the Triple cable was because the jack on the UE11 is recessed, no modification was needed to fit the jack on the FreQ because it's flush with the shell. The Triple has a flush jack.

I saw the price kicked up by S$20
lol, the builder must have been flooded with orders...
Headphone/IEM Cable

Luckily I grabbed one before that and loving it.
Mine is slightly different from the one listed though, I got a pair of plastic plugs molded into a rectangular shape instead of round.... Extra clear sleeving also, I guess it increased the stiffness but nevertheless still softer than my stock TF10 cable.

Mine looked similar to this, with a RA plug though,

The change of sound of this cable over the stock cable is IMMENSE! I have never imagined how does changing a cable could bring so much difference to the sound representation. I used be a non-believer in cables, but this cable transformed me!
Firstly, the most obvious change is sound stage. Greatly enlarged compared to the stock cable in both dimension.
It also brings the originally recessed mid on TF10 more forward while adding slices of details in it. Vocals and jazz nv sounded better on my TF! The bass hits deeper, not too tight but deeper! It is more spread over the place and more detailed as well.

It is slightly thicker than the stock cable, but of great flexibility, no problem putting into the UE carrying case. Microphonic wise, stock cable is better. But as long as I do not swing this cable around it is still within acceptable level.
Update on the microphonic: I tried to run with it today, well, dun bother getting it if you plan to run with your tri.fi

. Anyway, the stock cable doesn't perform well when running either...

Yup, it is from null audio. Ken is a very nice guy to deal with, accommodating all my silly queries

Great review AudioJUNK! It's going to be tough waiting for the APureSound cable after reading your impressions.

But the microphonics issue does not sound good.
