My rabbit chewed up the cable to the point of it no longer working.
 
I received no reply when I contacted sennheiser USA.
 
The only online store I could find selling them is based in the UK:

Get the part number if you can and walk into an audio shop that is a Sennheiser recognized dealer.
 
They should be able to help you with the spare cable.

Have you contacted the guys at headphone.com? maybe they can help

Not much aftermarket support either - HD 600, HD 650, HD 800 - no problem with
the high tier stuff but the HD 598 seems to have few options in the cable mod area.
 
You could always lop either end off to re-use them in a custom job if you're fairly
DIY.
