Palindromes - 7/10
It was ok but I was expecting better from Solondz.

Sherlock Holmes: 5/10. Not badly done, but it's the sort of mystery movie where they spend a lot of time explaining things to the audience - especially explaining why something holmes is about to do is incredibly awesome. And a lot of time setting up the sequel.

Let the Right One In: 9/10. I'm not a horror guy but this is the best vampire movie I've seen in a long time. No sparkling at all.

Invention of Lying - 2/10

Pretty rubbish to say the least. Totally unrealistic view on the behavioural aspects in that type of society where a lie doesn't even exist- things like the waiter coming up and saying he hates his job, er, waiters don't come up to me and tell me they like their job why would they say they hate it in this world?!? If people really offended each other in the lie-free world, why do they talk out so much? they'd keep quiet etc.. anyway that wouldn't make good cinema!

The film also got very very crappy toward the end. Turned into your typical wedding crash love story.

Ricky wasn't particularly funny either, plus, there was way too many sexual references and jokes that just got a bit cringe-worthy.

Reasonable enough concept but it didn't make for good viewing.

I watched UP at my female friend's house. Extremely cute movie, pretty emotional throughout. 9/10 overall, I'd say. The story did leave things a bit lacking (up to the imagination???).

Just saw this movie and I agree, it was horrible.

Inglorious Basterds: 9/10. Very good movie. The last 5-10 minutes get 11/10, the rest gets 7/10, I averaged them for the total

Watched the Blu-Ray on my roommate's 120hz Samsung, looked awesome too.

Watchmen Ultimate Cut - 9/10

IMHO for fans of the graphic novel this is the definitive version.
