Transformers bluray edition. 5/10... It would be 1/10 if I would judge it by story, humour, mature level and directors skill but the special effects and reference qualities regarding picture and sound get it up to 5/10.
Excellent movie with Christopher Walken playing a NYC mob boss who is kidnapped by a group of 20ish friends who are trying to use his connections to get their kidnapped sister back. Highly recommended.
My Sister's Keeper - Not nearly as bad and as I expected it to be. There were no draggy parts. The acting was meh, the pacing and structure of the story could have been better, lots of cliches, predictable and cheesy; but emotionally, it kindda worked - which is pretty much the whole point. It was meant to be a tearjerker and that's what it did. The only thing that could have pissed me off was if it was over-the-top melodramatic like the reviews have said, but it wasn't that melodramatic really... especially considering the subject matter. 6/10

Fine, I dragged her. I have a thing for Rya...Sandra Bullock.
It had a descent story, I just felt it could've done with 10 more minutes of better dialogue. He wasn't jump around being his normal kick-ass self, but that was refreshing.
Anyone else catch the tube amp in that movie? Nice special effects. Blu-Ray makes it look really nice. Interesting use of music, numbers and such. Bad news: too much stuff just thrown out at you.
City of God: 9/10
I think it's really pretty good. Like everyting about it. Need to track down that DVD or Blu-Ray locally and watch it again.
I mean holy ****. This is a seriously great movie. Good length (I don't like overly long movies), great direction, everything. The scenery, colours and sound reminded me a lot of Half Life 2 and the story was somewhat orwellian. The atmosphere was incredible too and the 5.1 helped alot.
Zatoichi at large - 8/10
At first I wasn't too keen on the idea of the blind swordsman cliché, but Zatoichi was great with a lot of neat tricks, it reminded me of good manga.
Come and See - 9/10
Very realistic sad and gritty feel to this one, excellent film.
Visioneers - 7.5/10
Some hilarious parts but dragged a bit in the second half, overall I really liked it.
