No. Either food poisoning, or some vicious stomach bug.
Hmmm, I'm not a doctor, but a 'miserable night of vomiting into a bucket' sounds more like a typical case of the 'bowl of Jia Xiang Mee' blues to me
Anyhow, get wel soon!

since this is a popular thread i need a clarification

does UE11 Pro use the typical 2-pin cable like EE/Noble use ? or is it a special ''only fits UE11'' cable ?

It's a different kind of cable, proprietary to um and ue

Standard Cable. Standard Two pin plussound fits for example. Or my VE8 standard Cable.

are you sure about that , cause a person before said no

i want to sell a standard 2-pin cable (used with EE/Noble etc) to a UE11 Pro owner

edit : i see you own UE11 PRO , so you are probably 100% sure

also , how is ares II with Zeus ?

Hmm perhaps they have changed it then..I bought mine about 10 years ago... i just know mine use standard two pin

Ares II and the zeus are a good match and I love the ergonomics of the cable.

Edit
Seems like they changed the cable 2010 so depends on the age of the ue11.

I think all the new UE have a different socket (extruded), the connector is different.

You could use a cable with the regular 0.78mm pin connectors but the connectors would stick out, I would recommend it only for a short period of time.

I have a UM ME.1 that utilizes the same socket, I can send you some pictures tomorrow.

It depends on when the IEM was made. Like @thebratts said, all UE11's past a certain year use the extruded connectors that are only compatible with UE, UM and QDC IEMs.

Aren't the diameters of the sockets different? If I remember correctly, standard 2-pin sockets are 0.78mm-wide, while the extruded 2-pin sockets are about 0.75mm. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

No, the extruded socket are still .78mm wide, I tried with couple of cables and they fit perfectly without any effort.
Estetically they look weird since the connectors are sticking out morE and there more prone to bend.

It stretches the female sockets and the polarity is different

Oh, I see. Thanks for clarifying. :)

An MS employee just confirmed to me that this is correct; the extruded sockets are indeed reversed in polarity.
For UE as well as UM? I remember coming across a discussion about it when I was looking into the Maestro V2, as it was not clear whether UE cables could be used on UM IEMs. (In this Miracle V2 review UE advised against it.)

Also @AC-12 uses a SIlverFi R4/R5 on his UE18+, but I remember it took him a lot of searching (polarity, 0.78mm vs 0.75mm) before he dared to try it. I think @flinkenick ended up telling him he liked to use his R5 with the UE18+ as well. Still, a good excuse for some cool gear shots (sorry for stealing your image AC-12, but I still drool over these :D )...
