I am surprised you ranked R6 Pro ii so highly on the list. What do you think of its sound compared to DX320 or the N7?

It’s higher because of my preference to how it sounds subjectively vs n7 and dx320. I wasn’t a huge fan of N7 with my iems/library.

I tested LPGT vs SP3000, SP3000 and others.
LPGT is on the same level as SE200.
SP3000 (and SP2000) is sounds better.

Update:

Astell&Kern SP3000 is the champion dap for me. So, it goes at the top of the list. It has an amazing sense of spaciousness, and the soundstage is noticeably bigger on it.

Agree with you. SP2000 is far better than LTGT in all aspect.

For me, the ease of use of LPGT is one factor which makes it the best overall dap for me - surely not the best sounding, I agree.

Are they still producing SP2000? Cannot find it anywhere.

Yes I can agree with you on that aspect, but we are in the thread for SQ.
The micro OS like Looto or sony 1Z, L&P make it easy to use, reduce power usage but limit the functionality such as search, library management.

As I know SP2000 is discontinue due to new SP3000 line up, you can find 2nd items or find dealer that are still stock.

1) Sony WM1Z (Finally got to spend some time with this-- The Wm1Z has a subtle and highly musical refinement and resolving quality to the sound that becomes more and more apparent the more I listen to it. Sonically I'm not sure there's anything out there even now that can properly best it on its own terms.

I'm surprised to see the M9 in last place; what makes the N30 special? I've been away for a few months so i havent been following the thread closely.
