Owning dx300 with amp11 mk1, is there anything worthwhile to power up over ears especially ZMF totl lineup with main focus on Atrium Closed for mobile use. Dx300 works pretty well, but I feel there is still quite a lot room to improve. Looking for more depth, bass and detail to get mobile setup closer to Holo Bliss with May.

I had a chance to listen to LP6ti 7AE just a few days back. The bass on it is too good - great impact and texture. While the soundstage may not be as wide as others, but has definitely more depth and the sense of spaciousness is huge like no other daps can do it that good. SP3K has a better width in soundstage but not as good bass texture and the spaciousness also 7AE has a better tonal weight. Though the 7AE lacked the clarity and clean sound of SP3K.

I find N7 to be noticeably better in all aspect (clarify, soundstage, dynamic, etc) comparing to N8 and WM1z. As for SP3000 I only had it for about a month so it's basically from my vague memory. One thing I can clearly remember is that I wasn't impressed at all when I first got the device. Not like the time when I had SP2000 or even SP1000. Transitioning from AK380 to SP1000 was a memorable moment. A big boost in terms of SQ.

DX320 X owner here.. try the other amp cards like Amp13 first if it gives you want you need. I recently "upgraded" and it inspired me to re-listen and enjoy all my older IEMs/headphones

I did not directly compare the N7 to the WM1Z, but I would expect the same.

I had a brief time with N7, though it was a long time back. To be honest, it did not wow me as much, like WM1Z or SP3k did when I had first listened them. May be I had more expectations from N7. For that matter, DX320 also had intrigued me a lot when I had first tried them. The sound on it is good esp. the bass response.

I will have to try the N7 again to see how it compares.

Just on sound...

1) Sony WM1Z (Finally got to spend some time with this-- The Wm1Z has a subtle and highly musical refinement and resolving quality to the sound that becomes more and more apparent the more I listen to it. Sonically I'm not sure there's anything out there even now that can properly best it on its own terms.

Quite surprised about the poor amount of N8ii in these ranking, is there any reason about it ?
