I queried Dmitri from Musica Acoustics, and it seems that the F21 is again delayed as Radius sorts out production issues. Apparently the new Japanese domestic release time is March, with international availability up in the air. The domestic price point is now 25,000 Yen ($300 USD.) and Dmitri may do another special offer to Head Fi members as with the E-Q5.
 
All I can say is, with these delays and that kind of pricing, these had better be a significant improvement over the original - considering we are approaching quite close to the price of the FX700's now.

Current DDM W11 model has been highly regarded among headfi users and often placed/ranked next to Top tiers Dynamic Driver such as IE8, FX700, MPTC among few.
If new model will be an improvement over current one,   299 $  isn't that bad, taking into consideration Radius is  a Japanese import and the current exchange rate of US$ VS Japan yen has only made it worst   ($1US to 81 JPY)..
So no, I am not with you, I definitely wait till March and get one for myself...

It's just that all these talks about the 005 being a true stax while actually having bass, made me wonder just how much better can the W2 be? (compared to the SRS 005)
So i'm still waiting for the W2, just not as eagerly anymore.

They utilized a designer?? 

  Whoever it is should be fired.... because these things are up there with the Pontiac Aztec for visual repulsiveness. Sonically they'd have to dethrone the likes of the SM3 for me to consider trying out a pair.
