If you've shied away from dynamics till now because of unbearable bass, the DDM will probably work for you since they aren't too boomy. But I understand if the opposite is true.

I think it is the one in this thread: TWF11R - but DDM is on the packaging. I am also drunk, so DDM could be something else I remembered sporadically.

Dual Dynamic Membrane perhaps?

It sounds like we've got a new inexpensive (relatively speaking of course) performance heavyweight. At $150 plus shipping, I'm tempted to try them out, see how they compare SQ wise to my RE0s.

Haha it's actually just "Dual Diaphragm Matrix" on the box, whatever that means. I like to think though, it could mean "Dual Driver Monster"! For the costs of the earphones they really are quite amazing. You may find them to be like the strange bizarro world cousin of the RE0's in that they kind of do for bass what the RE0's do for treble.

These seem to have opened up even more over the weekend and I have to say I'm completely bowled over and bewitched by them now. I can lose myself in music like never before such is their depth and three dimensionality. They really are a quantum leap forward over what I've been used to.

So these crush the much-touted HJE900? Makes me wonder if they would be a good complement to the DBAs I own. One great $150 BA and one great $150 dynamic, for the price of one top-tier IEM (less even).

I wouldnt say they crush the HJE900, well actually they do, but its a completely different sound really, and I still love the Panasonics, not least for their build quality.

It's $30 more, it's $30 well spent. Or, you can get a Denon C710 for $30 less than HJE900 when money is tight. (C710's treble is a bit too hot for some.) Not to take away good from HJE900, it was, it had been strangely promoted to be more than what it is.

So if I got this right when you put them in the ear it's only the tips that go in and none or not much of the housing right? I can handle a bad cable esp if I don't plan to use it outside but if it fits anything like the TF10 then that's not something I can live with. Also if anyone has the e-Q7 or CK10 or similarly phones hows the treble detail on these compared to those

Finally!!! A postal message stating that the Radius destination will hit its destination tomorrow (Monday)!! 

 I didn't even have this much anticipation for the FX700 (which turned out to be the best surprise I've had in IEMs next to the MDs). So I hope these don't let me down after this long wait. First impressions hopefully sometimes tomorrow my fellow head-fiers.

I have a pair of eQ7 and I loved the CK10 (bought in 2008). Treble detail as such is high in all three models, but treble as a frequency sticks out more on the CK10 and the eQ7. Overall detail levels are higher in the DDM, but detail is captured mostly in mid and low texture. The Q7 is more 'detailed' than the CK10 in its bass for sure, even gaining a bit of tactility, but the CK10 is perhaps smoother. I'd choose the DDM over either one for sound preference however. It has good treble, but it isn't spiked for the ear's alteration.

Interesting, that $150 IEMs are starting to make legitimate waves among the top tier IEMs ($300+ MSRP), based on your experience (and LFF's in the DBA thread). With these phones and the DBAs, which I own and believe sound a lot better than their price, the top tier IEM makers have some serious competition. If Radius can make a more ergonomic IEM (one is in the works?) and Fischer decides to make a triple driver (and keep the price down to around $200), it will get very interesting indeed.

Grr, now I'm trying to choose between the DBA and this. I have a hard time believing they'll be so much better than than my beloved HJE900s, which although I haven't had many IEMs to compare to, beat out every full size headphone I've tried below $300 unamped. Yeah, I like them a lot.

Hmmm... DBA seems to have amazing clarity, these seem to have some kind of amazing warm sound signature. Ahh, choices.
 
P.S. I have to disagree with david above me, the C751s didn't compare to the HJE900s when I tried out a friends, though it was only for a few mins. Maybe it's just my fanboyism though

Well, I personally don't think the eQ7 is worth its asking price - in terms of sound. Like the Final Audio 1601, it is a luxurious earphone that isn't smashing for portable activity. Both are excellent sounding (the FAD when everything is right), but not worth their price in sound alone. So considering the 150$ Radius is being compared with the CK10 (200$) and the eQ7, I'd say its pretty fair. No one will make a 200$ earphone as well as Audio Technica - no one seems to care to leave cheap plastic and shoddy construction behind. Sadly, Radius will probably keep the nylon cable no matter how ergonomic they make the earphones themselves.
 
I don't want anyone to mistake these as 'warm' - in the traditional sense, warm equates with slow and soft. These are neither. There is so much detail to be soaked up, just not a piercing treble. They aren't fatiguing, so if that is warmth, then so be it.
