Just got my raal, using it with the hsa 1b, sounds so amazing. The resolution and presentation is absolutely stellar

just upgraded from a gsx mini to the hsa 1b. Crazy that the stage becomes so much bigger and has such nice dynamics

one can argue what is best but the presentation of the sr1a is clearly one of a kind and truly startling sometimes...I get that some miss the sub bass but the realism of the presentation is truly startling...it is the only HP I own that I have to adjust to when I first listen to it after other HP's as well as the only HP that requires the same when I listen to others after the sr1a

ehhem.. Who else thinks that circumaural Raal is quite ugly, possibly uglier than Heddphones even.

I hate that they've decided to carry over the SR1a design cue. However, It looks maybe comfortable and I really only care about the sound. Still ready to purchase blindly.
I heard the new headphones, just briefly and we were stressed to do other things. However, I will be buying the new headphones to listen in bed.
I heard it with the HSA-1B.

Looks are only looks, and we are in this for the music and sound quality...but damn do those circumaural SR1s look UGLY
