Is it true that the 80 ohm version of these cans are more bass heavy? Im planning on buying a pair and amping it with a hud-mx1. Im kind of unsure whether to get the 80ohm or 250ohm.

The 80ohm version is the bassiest of the DT770's. It does perform tighter and more rich with an amp. They isolate very well. They have a bit of a grip at first, so be aware. They sound great. Good highs. Mids are a tad recessed. But you're getting these cans for bass/treble, not for mids. Right? Right.
