I am thinking about plunging into the world of custom IEMs. The type of sound I like is mellow, yet detailed, with a bit of a good bass punch. Something along the lines of Senn HD650s or Shure se530 (but a little more treble than the Shures). What do you all suggest with a similar sound signature? I really like the new high-end Westones, ES5, based on the design and the reviews, but I don't want anything too bright that will likely fatigue my ears. I am looking for suggestions of "mellow" custom IEM models that I can research. Thanks all....

You can check out my thread here, which has some reviews with many more to come.  Of the customs I have heard, the Fabs and EM3 Pro might fit the bill as both have smooth, non-offensive treble.  I will be getting the Thousand Sound TS842, which supposedly sounds similar to a HD650.
