Hi, i was looking for a pair of m50s, and i saw that on amazon.co.uk (I'm european) they have two versions of m50s:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/ATH-M50-Audio-Technica/dp/B000UVGI6O/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1314637268&sr=1-1 this one (that doesn't ship to italy) and http://www.amazon.co.uk/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50s-Headphones-ear-cup/dp/B000ULAP4U/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1314637268&sr=1-1 that actually ship to italy. Are they the same?

Also, they have real leather pad?

M50 has coiled cord, M50s has straight cord.  Otherwise, they are intended to be the same product.
 
Pretty sure the pads are not real leather.

the only difference  being the m50 having a coiled cable while the m50s having a straight cable 
 
the first is better for portable use .. as you won't face a problem with the cable dangling ..etc
 
and both have pleather earpads .. no difference at all.

They are basically the same, which to choose? its a matter of personal taste...and price.
