So no output impedance spec? Usually high SINAD numbers are accompanied by high output impedance on portable dongles.

MainPictureThere:

Got mine MUB1.

I'll go straight to the sound:
0) OMG THATS POOOOOOWEEEEEEEERRRR!
1) out of the box it really sounds strange and muffled.
2) enormous power - Shozy Pola(veryPowerHungry iems) sound great, and other sources (FIIO M17 Q7) could not reveal these iems.
3) the peculiar sound inherent in this DAC, i.e : the bass is soft, there is no clear impact like the QLS QA361 (the bass is like a jackhammer), the mid frequencies are straight and somewhat harsh in the upper middle, the high frequencies are good and have a good balance between airiness and weight.
4) filters change the sound (but Nos mode sounds narrow and soft for me).
5) too compact size lika a magent powerbank for iphone.
6) some noise on 4.4, better use a 3.5 for iems(also power too enough).

About the comparison: many were waiting (including myself until I bought Mub1) for a comparison with the QLS QA361.
So, the QA361 sounds smoother and more aggressive, a little more technical and bright in the upper mids, and less bass. I would say that the MUB1 is the 361 with musical presentation and added weight + pumping on the bass as well as increased power.
Also have a QLS QA390 but...this is different: 390 is wider on soundStage, more powerful bass(biggest and deeper), higs more and more brighter.

When compared with other wireless DACs, it easily outshines the Fiio Q7, especially in terms of power (Shozy on the Q7(no pc mode) - 90%, MUB1 50%).
4.4mm has some noise? That's worrying; I'm buying these specifically to use their 4.4

Only on Super gain, on M gain is all okey

Is there any point using Super gain for IEMs though? Sounds like High would be enough?
It depends on the source and on the iems. On phone and BT all my iems are good at high gain up to around 60-65/100 volume max. But when playing from volumio pc the volume is so noticeably decreased that I have to use super gain up to around 75/100 volume max (but on volumio the dynamics are noticeably better).

In my case it didn't blew up. This days fast charging is operated by special chips both in charger and the device being charged so MUB1 would draw as much current as it need.

So I've just gotten the MUB1, reading the manual on the battery it says:

I have a USB-C Wall Charger with the following specs; is it safe to use? Seems it's lowest is 5V 3A but I'm not really good with understanding batteries and charging tech.

I'm not the electrician but usually the rating is maximum output that said device can handle. So on case of for example your phone or MUB1 the device that being charge will draw as much current as it needs. Again I'm not an electrician so I am not aware why that is but my observation is that such thing is happening.

Anyone else here does NOT use the included screen protectors? Somehow managed to mess up applying both so I've decided (forced) to go bare screen 😂 the screen protectors look ugly anyways.
