Used my q701s after using the dt 990s for a month or so. MY GOSH THE SOUNDSTAGE! Lets see how they hold up to he 400 that are on the way!
For now the q701s are my go to cans for all types of music except EDM. They sound beautiful with female vocals in indian songs.

I guess. The only downside to these headphones though are those cursed bumps. I cant even wear them for an entire album anymore and it completely messes up my hair. Going to cut it off this weekend

True! beside playback songs with female vocal , i spent more time with dt990 because the center image is stronger and sound more thick.
Q701 i feel there is a missing link between the soundstage from left and right ...
