The new Ulver is really, really good. Black metal band puts out a synth-pop album. Well, not really as song structures are intricate and long, which is why I am posting this here. Not sure it is "prog rock" but it is definitely progressive!

+1000 Ulver goes where Ulver wants to go...

I thought you might do that:) I embedded the album, you just posted a pic;p

Yeah, but you have to admit, I was more elegant than you

Anyway, this album deserves to be posted twice. Listening now to their previous album ATGCLVLSSCAP. Very different sounding but very interesting... the perfect soundtrack to an old Assassin's Creed game.

A new album recommendation. The band is Barock Project. Their fourth album 'Detachment' is very good. I have found some of their previous albums technically brilliant but cold not so with 'Detachment'. I highly recommend it.

This is very good, thanks!

Forget for a while about today's mathematical riffs and rhythms, and enjoy a simple piece of music that is above all musical.
Today I remembered Fish and gone through some of his early solo records. Too bad he has lost his edge over time, later albums are not as good... but Vigil and Internal Exile are masterpieces. Not of progressive music, but of MUSIC.
