I have only recently been introduced to Lunatic Soul and so far I think the music is epic! But having bought the latest album, I am disappointed, some of it is repetitive and just not to the standard I have gotten to know from this style of music, maybe just me!
While talking of Lunatic Soul, I am looking for some "new to me" music based around the sounds of Lunatic Soul and Amarok, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I discovered Lunatic Soul based on listening to The Pineapple Thief.
(Steven Wilson).

I got to Lunatic Soul via Riverside, Mariusz Duda's main band - Lunatic soul is his side project

Thank you for the recommendation but those I have already got as well. Spent some time going through this thread and then testing the music from some artists but I need some more along the lines of Lunatic Soul, any more ideas would be appreciated. By-the-way, Mostly Autumn do some cracking music!

I'm standing in the O2 Islington in London right now waiting on Mostly Autumn to take the stage

Awesome! I've never listened to them before, but I will now. Enjoy!

Edit: Wow, based on this, (a) they are awesome and (b) you lucky so and so!

Already have most if not all Renaissance albums but thanks anyway.
I've been listening to Mostly Autumn on Spotify for most of tonight and I am very, very impressed. I love the guitar work, it's so varied, it's like someone put Floyd, Tull, IQ and probably a few others in a blender and hit the power button - awesome sound. I think the current female vocalist is the best yet, soft and musical but powerful as hell when it's needed - I am thinking a major spending spree on Amazon is forthcoming :D
