The shot is pretty nice, but isn't the whitebalance a bit off?

Thanks for the feedback! If it appears that way to you, it probably is, my monitor isn't anywhere near the best, or even good for photoediting

I try to make it look as close to correct as I can.

Okay it looks like it was pretty cloudy when you took the shot. That explains the blue-ish tint. Maybe still a bit too blue-ish/cold, but that's just how I think. The atmosphere is pretty unique!

I had to REALLY work to pull the blue out of the sky, while I was there in the upper north-east, it was almost always grey. One thing I like about Texas is, it's almost always blue skies

CPL filter will take care of that.
