The atmophere can enlarge the moon at times, still my issue was also with exposure. Like a neutral density graduated filter of some sort.



Note how the water reflection seems right on for the moons size?

Yes, the Moon was captured at 200mm, when it was much lower on the Horizon.
I did add a GND in Post, the full moon was simply too bright, and sky was like day light exposure.
