I think distance between Stanford and SJSU is shorter than the distance between Stanford and Berkeley. Anyway, Berkeley is like 50 Min away from SJSU and Stanford is like 30 Min away.

Ah. Well, both are much closer than where I'm now. Are you at SJSU too, hifidk? Maybe we can do a tri-way meetup..

I don't go to SJSU but I live in San Jose. I graduated from Berkeley a while ago. Hope this isn't too much OT.

Very nice scott_d_m, how do you like the sound of the Harbeth compared to your previous speakers?

The Harbeth's step it up a bit compared to the Quad's. The P3's sound more natural, more involving. The highs are very nice and extended, while the bass is surprisingly deep for such a small monitor. The P3's are also more musical than the Quad's which is nice since I listen to a lot of rock and acoustical music.
The toe tapping has not stopped since I hooked the babies up.

All the equip is listed in my signature. The vinyl setup is in the fledgling stages, but its just a Bic940 with a Musical Fidelity XL-P. Btw, does anyone know if I can change the opamps in that with single HDAM units (the dual ones do not work) from Audiogd, I'm trying to gain sound without buying a whole other unit

? The original op-amp is a NE5534 AN, and I've currently replaced them with AD797BRZ opamps. Runs in a dual mono config.

The AD797BRZ is supposed to be one of the best opamps available, even better than the AudioGD ones most have said.
