When you can, you should get the regulated power supply for the Desktop...it makes a nice difference, especially with a DAC version.

Pretty modest so far... the speakers were a gift five years ago and the sound quality is pretty dismal.. the headphones up above are wireless and as a result there's a lot of static (they itch like hell, too).

This will be my listening area for the next month when I move back into the dorms.

Got things a little tidy today. Still need to tackle the cabling. The Parasound gear is for a second sytem, and will be moving to make space for an incoming Opus DAC and a new CD transport.

Yes it's the Antech 900. With the fans turned at the highest setting (they're 3 speed) it's fairly loud, but bump it down a notch and it's pretty quiet. The mega fan on top is virtually noiseless. And it cools very well.

That is an Aries 3, and those are Proac of some sort, maybe Tablettes.

The speakers are ProAc Response 2s. The turntable is an Aries 3.
