New MacBook Air added to my Rig but my main CDP/Music Server is a RWA Modded Olive.

That's quite some rig you got there!

Thanks, I like it a lot so far! I think I'm pretty much done with buying headphones, but I'll upgrade the rest of the componments eventually (as soon as my wallet stops crying in a dark corner), starting with the source.

I can fully understand now when people say the OII are a bitch for power, I need to crank the T1S two or three notches more than the Lambda Signature to get the same volume level and the bass doesn't seem as focused as what I remember from the setup I had heard (CEC TL51XR -> SRM-717). The midrange is to die for though.

Based on specs alone, the 0404USB is no slouch at all. That said, if I had your rig, I'd also be upgrading the source first before the amp. Another option would be to buy a HE60 to replace the Lambda Signature

Short of not having the as much bass as the Signature, the HE60 has it beaten. If you want bass, you got the SR-007 anyway.

If you haven't done so already, I would also play around with some other tubes since the SRM-T1S is pretty easy to bias. 6CG7/6FQ7s are also quite cheap and there are loads to choose from.

Running both Vista and Leopard 10.5.2. I use vista by far the most though. It "just works". OSX is awesome for the "wow" factor in class though.

*snip*NeXT Cube. The NeXT isn't exactly a Mac, but it was Steve's baby and NeXTStep was the foundation for OS X.*snip* And the NeXT... how many 20 year old machines still surf the web and are about as usable as any modern box?

MASSIVE RESPECT to NeXTstep. I was actually at an apple training thing a few months ago and the instructor had OPENSTEP running in a Parallels VM - it isn't much faster than the real black boxes from back in the day

A REVOLUTIONARY platform... we're very lucky to have this as the back end running OS X... there is no way it could ever have played out another way, everything fell right into place...
