disgusting, vista and mac should never be placed on the same machine. I mean, xp and mac is suitable... but vista and mac? thats horrible.

Ok, first time picture poster here, so I hope it works out.

Anyways, this is my desk, normally the iBook isn't on it (because of the limited space).

There's a macbook pro, a good old G3 iBook 800MHz and an iMac. The iBook has always been running Linux and does it great. Very little heat, no noise, good keyboard and fast enough for a lot of what I do. The Macbook pro is sort of my workstation. The iMac is my girlfriend's (Note: Don't let your girlfriend hide behind a 24" screen with a pair of headphones. It can be really hard to get her attention

Well, as I projected earlier in this thread I got my Mac and Apogee Duet earlier this month.

This is the first Mac I've owned and the first I've used since writing-up my resume at the DePaul University computer lab back in the fall of 1991.

So far the system has exceeded every expectation.

Here's an old, ugly, bald dude with a huge nose working it at the last Atlanta meet:

I almost pulled the trigger on the Mac-Mini, but preferred the portability of the MacBook.

Its weird being a complete newbee to an OS (well, maybe not because I have worked with several proprietary embedded systems). But I really like OSX.

The sound is great and I think preferable to the Ayre (shown above, below the (black) bryston). Jury's still out.

These days I lug the Mac and Duet to work everyday.

I was concerned, but now I feel great in the end.

Two pictures posted and then quoted twice on the same page for less than two sentence replies, eh?

Ok, ok!
I have now changed my quote from showing images to showing links only.
