its winter! highly recommended..

Many thanks. I love Sibelius!!
Rouvali is an excellent conductor. I saw him last year with the Philarmonia Orchestra: Rachmaninov 1st piano concerto with the wonderful Yuja Wang and Tchaikovsky Romeo and Juliet and the 4th symphony. A great concert.

Something a little unusual. The much maligned instrument, next to the accordion, both of which I played in my youth!

Auld Lang Syne | Berliner Recorder Orchestra

Vivaldi Spring I. Allegro from The Four Seasons RV 269 - Berliner Blockflöten (Recorder) Orchestra

It has been fluffing freezing over the last few weeks in these parts and today is so windy that that your face could be blown off. :sunglasses: Will get worse with Storm Isha on the way. Will be glad to see the back of January! I live not far from this Uni

Auld Lang Syne - The Choral Scholars of University College Dublin

Far from classical music but seems very well recorded and worth a listen I reckon, but I could be wrong :robot:

I was in the US many times in the 90's and one day a guy was selling his own CD's of panpipe music. I asked him if he could do a discount on all three of his CD's and he said no. So guess what, I bought none of them, much to his annoyance! They were clearly more valuable to him than they were to me!
