2023 Nobel Prize Concert​

This year’s Nobel Prize Concert brings together world-renowned conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen and acclaimed violinist Julia Fischer, together with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. On 8 December, works by Boccherini, Brahms and Ravel were performed on the Konserthuset Stockholm stage. The audience also heard a work by the exciting young composer Gabriella Smith.

Leonard Bernstein — Maestro on Record: with Nina, Alex and Jamie Bernstein​



I went to watch Maestro. I loved it. My better half did not. The movie is much more about the marriage than about the music but I liked it as a movie. About the music it is surprising how little of West Side Story is played and just a passing mention of the Young People´s concerts. I loved the acting of both of the main characters, decoration, ambiance etc. My wife found the story not so interesting.

It's good to give classical some love. Here are a few of my favorites.

Carlos Kleiber Vienna, Best 5th ever. Dynamics of the Vienna with Kleiber really show how good the 5th and 7th can be.
